Forms - applications & signups
The form builder (Grow → Forms) replaces Google Forms - with the answers landing in your queues instead of a spreadsheet.
- Start from a template (vendor, volunteer, sponsor, contact) or blank. Reorder, remove, add fields; live preview on the right.
- Role pricing: give a vendor/performer form a Standard fee (and optional refundable deposit) - every application arrives already carrying that fee, ready to invoice, and each vendor's amount stays editable on the festival board. A dropdown choice ending in a price (“Corner booth - $250”) overrides the standard fee, “($100 deposit)” in the choice sets that tier's deposit, and a “Spaces” answer multiplies the fee.
- Auto-reply (Settings tab, on by default for new forms): the applicant instantly gets an email copy of their answers - including their fee when the form prices applications - plus your confirmation message.
- Field polish: every question can carry a placeholder, help text, and half width (two fields side by side, e.g. Name / Email) - set them by clicking the question on the canvas.
- Views & conversion: the Forms list shows each form's views and what percent become submissions, so you can spot a form that loses people.
- Pre-filled links: add
?field_key=valueto a form's link to seed answers - including hidden fields for tracking where applicants came from (e.g.?source=instagram). - Print / PDF: every submission has a Print/PDF button - a clean one-pager with the answers and the application fee, for health-department packets and vendor files. Half-filled public forms also warn before the visitor leaves the page.
- Popup embed: besides the iframe embed, each form has a one-line
<script>snippet that adds a floating “Apply now” button to any website, opening the form in an overlay (optionally auto-opening once per visitor). - Add your logo, intro text, and images - vendors see a page that looks like yours, not ours.
- Share the hosted link or embed the form into your own website.
- Submissions appear under the form and - for vendor forms - in the festival's Applications queue, where approve/decline sends the notice automatically.
A hidden honeypot field silently blocks bots. File-upload questions are supported for insurance certs and the like.
