Refund Policy
How refunds work for tickets, booths, and donations.
Who issues refunds
Each organizer sets the refund policy for their own event. Refund requests are reviewed and issued by the organizer, not the platform - the money is in their Stripe account, so they are the only ones who can return it. (For an organizer who has not finished connecting Stripe, or a pooled co-lab night, the payment sits with us instead and we issue the refund on the organizer's instruction.)
How to request one
Contact the organizer of your event (their contact appears on the event page and your receipt). Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method via Stripe, typically within 5-10 business days.
Service fees
Service fees are non-refundable. A refund returns the ticket or item price; the service fee shown at checkout is not returned.
Booth fees and donations
Vendor/booth fees follow the festival’s stated terms (for example, non-refundable after a cutoff date). Donations are generally non-refundable; contact the organization for exceptions.
Canceled events
When an organizer cancels an event through the platform, every card order for it is refunded automatically and everyone is notified - you do not need to ask. Tickets paid in cash or issued as comps are voided rather than refunded, because that money never passed through us; the organizer settles those directly. If an event simply doesn’t happen and the organizer hasn’t cancelled it here, contact them first, then us.
